Dion Ooi

Dion Ooi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dion is currently working at Exness as part of the Global Learning and Development Team, where they inspire and develops leaders from 88 nationalities globally. Before that, Dion served as a Senior Consultant and the Director of Global Learning and Performance at ITD World from 2014 to 2022. Dion also worked as the Director of Marketing, Boarding, and Operations at Westlake International School from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, Dion held the role of Director at Value Driven Resources Sdn Bhd from 2019 to 2021. Dion was also selected by HRDF as the National Specialist Entrepreneur Mentor for Malaysia from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, Dion worked as a Principal Trainer at Idea Quest Consulting from 2010 to 2014, and as a Certified Trainer at SPIN® Selling by Huthwaite Asia from 2010 to 2012. Their earlier experience includes roles such as Account Executive Training, Senior Trainer in Learning & Development, and Team Manager at Dell Global Business Center, Penang, from 2005 to 2010. Dion also served as the Sales and Operations Head at STC Systems Solutions from 2003 to 2005, and as the Branch Manager at Telnex ICT Sdn Bhd, Penang, in 2003.

Dion Ooi has a diverse educational background. In 1994, they obtained a Higher Diploma in Information Systems from the Institute of Management Information System. Later, in 2008, they completed a Certificate in Supply Chain Management from the International Trade Centre.

In terms of formal degrees, Dion Ooi earned a Graduate Certificate in Business Management from Wawasan Open University (WOU) in 2019. Following this, they pursued a CE MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the same institution and graduated in 2022, specializing in Business Administration and Management.

Additionally, Dion Ooi has obtained various certifications and professional development courses.
