Yefrem Matosyan

Yefrem Matosyan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.

Starting in 2013, Yefrem worked as a Software Engineer at Yandex, where they focused on developing and supporting in-house build systems and storage. Yefrem implemented a new notification subsystem and prioritization algorithm and also worked on metrics collection and aggregation.

In 2015, Yefrem joined RAMBLER&Co as a Senior Software Engineer. Yefrem was responsible for developing and supporting a news web portal and news crawler. During their time there, they implemented various features, improved the topics grouping algorithm, integrated with an external news articles tagging system, and automated the building and deploying process.

From 2016 to 2020, Yefrem worked at Positive Technologies as a Development Team Lead. Yefrem managed the software development team for PT ISIM and FinCERT products and introduced a transparent and comfortable development process. Yefrem also led a major project for a large corporate customer and played an active role in releasing a free version of PT ISIM product.

In 2020, Yefrem joined Gett as a Development Team Lead, where they managed the billing team. Yefrem built a team of top-level engineers, introduced new transactional storage and finance management interfaces, and implemented a service to monitor integration status. Yefrem also improved the reliability of the billing service and reduced manual work related to the billing process in Israel.

In 2021, Yefrem moved to United Credit Bureau as the Head of Backend Development. Yefrem managed product development teams and achieved significant accomplishments such as hiring top-level engineers, implementing a development process based on scrum methodology, increasing system stability, and implementing high-load client APIs.

Currently, Yefrem is working as a Development Team Lead at Exness, a position they started in 2022.

Yefrem Matosyan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Southern Federal University (former Rostov State University) between 2007 and 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2011 to 2013.
