Strategic Business Development at Exodigo

Bret Simon has worked in a variety of roles in the utility industry since 2007. In 2007, they were an Engineering Intern at Rogers Corporation. In 2008, they were a Finance Intern at Honeywell Aerospace. In 2009, they began working at IBM Global Business Services as a Senior Consultant, where they led Enterprise Asset Management functional work-streams at large utilities in the Pacific Northwest and Texas, implemented Maximo 7.5 asset management software, and led software testing for the first Demand Response Load Control program in the western United States. In 2013, Bret moved to EY as a Senior in Advisory Services. In 2014, they began working at PwC as an Advisory Senior Manager - Power and Utilities, where they were the engagement/delivery leader on multiple cross-functional programs within the utility industry. In 2020, Bret moved to Unearth Technologies, Inc. as the Director, Utility Solutions, where they helped utilities build out their intelligent operational capabilities. Currently, Bret is working at Exodigo as a Strategic Business Development, providing utilities, land owners, and construction firms the fastest and most accurate method available to understand what utilities and other obstructions are underground.

Bret Simon obtained a degree in Finance with a field of study in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management between 2004 and 2009. In May 2020, they also obtained a certification in Human-Centered Design from PwC.
