Sam Seward

Sam Seward has a extensive work experience in the travel industry. Sam started their career in 2000 by founding SET Sports Tours, a sports travel and events start-up business. Sam successfully sold the company to TUI Travel in 2009. During their time at SET Sports Tours, they created market-leading brands in school sports, educational tours, university festivals, and bespoke tours for private clubs, adult and junior sports teams, and corporate groups.

After the acquisition, Sam worked as the Managing Director of Sports Travel Brands at TUI from 2009 to 2018. Following that, they joined Gullivers Sports Travel as the Managing Director from 2014 to 2018.

In 2018, Sam moved to Exodus Travels Ltd as the Managing Director, where they worked until 2019. Sam then joined Travelopia as the Managing Director of Adventure Travel in 2019. In 2021, they took on the additional role of Chief Sustainability Officer at Travelopia until 2023.

Sam's most recent work experience is as a Trustee at Exodus Travels Foundation starting from 2022.

Sam Seward attended Berkhamsted School from 1987 to 1997. Following this, from 1997 to 2000, Sam enrolled in the University of Southampton but did not specify a particular degree or field of study. In 2021, Sam attended a short course at the University of Cambridge. The course, titled "Business and Climate Change - Towards Net Zero," focused on climate change risk, adaptation measures, and low carbon innovation.
