James Willit

James Willit has extensive experience in energy research and development, currently serving as a Senior Technical Advisor at Exodys Energy since June 2025. Prior to this role, James was a Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy from May 2022 to June 2025, overseeing research projects related to molten salt fuel cycle technologies and leading international collaborations in pyroprocessing R&D. James dedicated 32 years to Argonne National Laboratory as a Research Chemist in Pyroprocess Development, culminating in a leadership role from 2004 to 2016. James earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University after completing an undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University.
