Ben Sung Hsu

Ben Sung Hsu is a software engineer with significant experience in various companies. Ben Sung currently holds the role of Principal Software Engineer at EXOKŌRYX since January 2023. Prior to that, from July 2021 to January 2023, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions, specializing in Modern C++, Embedded Software, Linux, Yocto, and Cybersecurity. Before joining Motorola Solutions, Ben worked at WatchGuard Video from January 2017 to July 2021 as a Software Engineer II, focusing on embedded software development, Linux development, and Docker.

From May 2015 to January 2017, Ben was employed at DRS Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they mainly worked on the development and testing of commercial infrared systems, utilizing C/Assembly/GNU Make, Altera SoC with RTOS uC/OS-II, and MATLAB with extensions. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer II at DRS Technologies, Inc. from June 2008 to May 2015, contributing to the development of soldier systems and commercial infrared systems, including software development, requirement management, test automation, and digital image processing.

Furthermore, Ben Sung Hsu started their career at IBM in January 2005, where they held the position of Quality Software COOP from January 2005 to July 2005.

Ben Sung Hsu attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering.
