Jason M Alter

Jason M Alter has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and marketing industries. Jason M is currently the Director of Scientific Affairs at Exosome Diagnostics since 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Director, Clinical Genomic Affairs at Decipher by Veracyte from 2014 to 2021. Jason M also held multiple roles at Decipher, including Director and Customer Experience and Innovation from 2013 to 2019. Jason was the Vice President of Marketing at Iris Personalized Medicine from 2011 to 2013 and the Vice President of Marketing at Aureon Biosciences from 2008 to 2011. Jason M also worked as the Director of Marketing at Aureon Laboratories from 2006 to 2008. Before that, Jason had a successful career at IBM, where they served as the Manager for Program Marketing, Marketing Communications lead, and Marketing Manager from 2001 to 2005. Jason M was also a Manager at IBM Life Sciences during the same period. Jason started their career as the Director of Business Development at Packard Bioscience in 2000 and later became the VP of Marketing at Pall Corporation from 1991 to 1999.

Jason M Alter has a Ph.D. in Biology from Binghamton University. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Microbiology from Texas A&M University. Jason M completed their undergraduate studies at Alfred University, where they earned a BA in Biology and History. Jason M Alter has also attended Stuyvesant High School.
