Carl Gillert

Carl Gillert is currently the CFO at Exostar. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer for T2 Systems from July 2020 to February 2022, where they led a successful exit of the company to a publicly held acquirer in December 2021. From January 2010 to July 2020, Carl served as the VP of Finance for Syniverse, a global SaaS technology company owned by The Carlyle Group. In this role, they led a global team of 45 team members in the areas of finance, treasury, capital markets, billing, accounts receivable, credit, procurement and taxation. Carl reported directly to the Global CFO and met regularly with the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and private equity representatives. Prior to joining Syniverse, Carl served as the VP of Tax, Risk Management & Government Affairs for HD Supply from August 2007 to July 2010 and as Director of Planning & Audits for The Home Depot from March 2006 to August 2007. Carl began their career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they served as Manager from July 1995 to July 2000.

After completing their undergraduate studies in accounting at the University of South Florida, Carl Gillert pursued a Master of Science in Accounting at the University of Central Florida. Carl is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.
