Kamalakannan Vishnu

Kamalakannan Vishnu is currently an Associate Scientist at Expansion Therapeutics. Kamalakannan has also worked as a Research Associate II at The Scripps Research Institute - Florida campus and as a Research Technician at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. In addition, they have also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Stony Brook University and as a Systems Engineer at Infosys.

Kamalakannan Vishnu obtained their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University in 2014. Kamalakannan then went on to work as a Systems Engineer at Infosys from July 2014 to December 2015. In May 2016, they started working as a Graduate Student Researcher at Stony Brook University and worked there till May 2017. Thereafter, they worked as a Research Technician at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from October 2017 to May 2018. Finally, they joined The Scripps Research Institute - Florida campus as a Research Associate II in May 2018 and worked there till October 2019.

Kamalakannan Vishnu has a Master of Science in Materials Science from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University. Kamalakannan is also certified from Aspiring Minds in AMCAT Certified Business Analyst, AMCAT Certified Corporate Communications Professional, AMCAT Certified Creative Content Developer, AMCAT Certified Customer Service Specialist, AMCAT Certified Data Processing Specialist, and AMCAT Certified Software Development Trainee. In addition, they have a certification from EMC in EMC Academic Associate Cloud Infrastructure and Services, and a certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in Cambridge English: Business Vantage (BEC Vantage) – CEFR Level B2.
