Christopher Frenie

Christopher Frenie currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel at Expedient, a role initiated in April 2020. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Vice President of Information Governance and Chief Privacy Officer at UPMC Health Plan from March 2017 to April 2020, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of confidential information and the development of a comprehensive privacy program. Prior to UPMC, Christopher worked at Mylan Inc. for nearly nine years, contributing as Senior Director of Compliance, Privacy, and leading initiatives related to policy development and risk assessment. Earlier career roles include positions at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP, Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control, Veris Consulting, and Information Management Consultants. Christopher obtained a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Penn State University.
