Michelle M.

Michelle M. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michelle is currently the VP of Product Operations at Expel, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to that, Michelle worked at GitHub, where they held several positions including Director of Product Operations from September 2022 to December 2023, Sr. Manager of Product Operations from May 2022 to September 2022, and Sr. Program Manager of Product Operations from December 2020 to May 2022.

Before their time at GitHub, Michelle served as the Manager of Product Strategy and Operations at New Relic, Inc. from November 2018 to December 2020. Michelle also worked at Simple Finance as the Operations Lead for Product Engineering from October 2016 to November 2018. Earlier in their career, Michelle held the position of Chief of Staff to the CEO at Paragon BioTeck, Inc. from May 2015 to October 2016.

Michelle has prior experience at GE, where they served as a Project Lead for GE Capital from 2006 to 2011. Michelle also worked at Micron Technology as a Manager of Strategic Communications & Public Relations from 2003 to 2006, and at NARUC as a Staff Program Manager for Clean Energy from 2000 to 2003.

Michelle M. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government, with a minor in History, from Utah State University. Michelle also pursued Master's coursework in Strategic Communications at the University of Chicago. In addition to their formal education, Michelle has obtained various certifications including Prosci® Improve Project Health, Mastering Product Management, Product Strategy, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, Human Centered Design, Practitioner - Technology of Participation (ToP)® Facilitation, and Regulatory Studies Program.
