Rafał Lewandowski

Rafał Lewandowski has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT and software engineering. Rafał has held various management and leadership positions, showcasing their ability to oversee teams and projects effectively.

Starting in 2000, Rafał worked for Jason MacKenzie as a Lead Developer and Project Manager, handling projects for the National Institute of Geology in Poland. Rafał also worked as a Designer and Developer, analyzing client requirements and developing client-server applications.

From 2003 to 2006, Rafał joined Sygnity S.A. as a Project Manager, where they excelled in direct client communication, team leadership, and vendor negotiations.

Rafał then moved on to hawkeye Channel by Vistex in 2006, assuming the roles of Application Analyst/Developer and eventually Software Engineering Manager. During their time there, they managed and coached teams, hired new employees, and acted as the Scrum Master.

In 2014, Rafał joined Peoplevox as the Application Lifecycle Manager, DevOps Manager, and later became the Lead Software Developer. Rafał built and managed a DevOps team, implemented and maintained services for development processes, and defined development processes based on Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

In 2018, Rafał joined Aurea Software as the Software Engineering Manager, with responsibilities including managing the infrastructure and processes of newly acquired companies from a SaaS perspective.

Most recently, in 2019, Rafał became the Director of IT Development and Operations at Expereo, where they oversee the IT and Cloud operations and development.

Throughout their career, Rafał has consistently shown their expertise in managing teams, implementing and maintaining development processes, and effectively handling client communication and negotiations.

Rafał Lewandowski has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Lodz, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their MSc in Computer Science from the University of Lodz between 1996 and 2001. Rafał also attended XXXV LO Łódź from 1991 to 1995, but the degree and field of study are unspecified. In terms of certifications, they have obtained various certifications including Professional Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL® 2011 Foundation, and several Microsoft certifications related to software development. Rafał is also a member of MENSA International.
