Oana Olteanu

Oana Olteanu is a board member at Explosion AI. Oana was previously a Sr. Associate at Scale Venture Partners, where they were part of the deal team for AllyO (acquired by Hirevue), Honeycomb, Observe.ai (sourced), Flatfile (sourced), Proscia (sourced). And Green Card. Oana also worked at SAP, where they co-developed ML products & SAP corporate vc. During their time at SAP, they worked on projects with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Facebook, Uber, and SAP AppCenter. Oana also kickstarted SAP's ML partner ecosystem, authored a build, partner, buy PoV on ML and contributed to SAP's ML strategy. After their time at SAP, they joined SAP.io - SAP's internal venture $35M fund - as the lead on all Bay Area deals. During their time at SAP.io, they worked on BigID’s Series A and sourced and diligenced the seed investments in Plum.io, Oto.ai (acquired by Unity Technologies) and Akorda.

Oana Olteanu holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Business from the University of Mannheim and a BSc in Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen.
