Edgar Plata

Edgar Plata is a Developer for Web Applications at Expo, Inc. Edgar was previously a Senior UX/UI Engineer at Blitsy from June 2016 to June 2019. While at Blitsy, they were responsible for the design and development of multiple properties for the shopping platform, which included a dashboard written in Angular 7, a mobile application written in React Native, Redux & native platform code, and an e-commerce website written in React + Redux. This work resulted in the acquisition of Blitsy by A.C. Moore. Post acquisition, Edgar continued to work in a dual engineering & management role - responsible for guiding the User Experience work for all tools.

Prior to working at Blitsy, Edgar was a Technology Analyst at J.P. Morgan from July 2014 to February 2016. Edgar then worked as an Application Developer at IT Application Services - Purdue University from May 2014 to July 2014. From May 2013 to May 2014, they were a Front End Developer - Intern at HFS Information Technology. And finally, from June 2012 to May 2013, they were a Web Production Assistant at Center for Science of Information.

Edgar Plata has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University.
