Senior Engineer at Exponent

Chaoyang (Chelsea) Liu began their work experience in 2013 as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH) and also worked as an Undergrad Researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from September 2013 to August 2014. In 2014, they had an exchange program at The University of Tokyo for a month and also completed an internship at Schlumberger from June 2014 to December 2014. In 2015, they started their PhD graduate program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign while also completing an internship at Ionic Materials, Inc. in January and February of the same year. Chaoyang (Chelsea) then joined Exponent in July 2020 as a Senior Engineer.

Chaoyang (Chelsea) Liu pursued their education in materials science and engineering. Chaoyang (Chelsea) completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they achieved their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 2015 to 2020.
