Christopher Dicesare

Christopher DiCesare has extensive work experience in the field of biomechanics. Christopher is currently working at Exponent as a Managing Scientist, specializing in biomechanics. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Scientist at Exponent.

Before joining Exponent, Christopher worked at the University of Michigan as a Research Fellow and Adjunct Faculty. Christopher also held the position of Adjunct Faculty at Xavier University and Mount St. Joseph University.

Christopher's career began at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where they served as a Biomechanist and Clinical Research Coordinator. During their time there, they managed the SPORT Center Laboratory and conducted research on knee and head injuries in pediatric athletes. Christopher was also involved in the development of a patented augmented NeuroMuscular Training system.

Additionally, Christopher worked as a Programmer Analyst at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Health Studies, with a focus on Exercise Science, from Miami University from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Christopher DiCesare also obtained a certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). This certification further enhanced their expertise and qualifications in the field of exercise science.

Building on their previous degrees and certifications, Christopher DiCesare then pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Cincinnati from 2015 to 2020. This marked a shift in their field of study, highlighting their multidisciplinary approach to education and their commitment to expanding their knowledge across different domains.
