Ezra Yoanes Setiasabda Ph.D., Pe (Tjung)

Ezra Yoanes Setiasabda (Tjung), PhD, PE has a diverse work experience. Ezra currently holds the position of Senior Engineer at Exponent, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineer at Exponent from September 2020 to March 2023.

In addition to their industry experience, Ezra also has experience in academia. Ezra worked as a Lecturer at Calvin Institute of Technology since September 2020. Previously, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from May 2018 to August 2020. Ezra Yoanes Setiasabda (Tjung), PhD, PE has an extensive education history. Ezra completed their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they also took part in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore in the spring of 2013, focusing on Civil Engineering.

After their bachelor's degree, Ezra pursued a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2015 to 2016. Ezra then continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geotechnical Engineering from 2016 to 2020.

Ezra's educational journey also includes a Master of Arts in Counseling, which they pursued at Westminster Theological Seminary from 2020 to 2022.

Ezra has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Ezra became a Professional Engineer (PE) under the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in July 2018. Additionally, they obtained the Insinyur Profesional Madya (IPM) - Senior Professional Engineer certification from Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia in August 2021. In July 2023, they obtained another Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

Ezra also holds the LEED AP Building Design + Construction certification awarded by Green Business Certification, Inc. in October 2019.
