Shaun Cruz

Shaun Cruz is a highly experienced electrical engineer currently serving as a Senior Associate at Exponent since June 2022. Prior to this role, Shaun held multiple positions at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division, including Research and Development Project Manager and Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities included writing proposals, managing prototype developments, and conducting technical analyses for projects. Notable achievements include a significant increase in power system reliability and the development of innovative methodologies for power system state estimation. Shaun's early career involved internships at the Naval Surface Warfare Center and Ametek Aerospace, complemented by academic contributions as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant. Shaun holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, along with a BS/MS in the same field, and graduated from The Middlesex County Academy for Science Mathematics and Engineering Technologies with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.
