Nikhil Mendhi

Nikhil Mendhi has accumulated a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Nikhil recently served as the President & Chief Operating Officer at Exponential AI, a position they began in January 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Exponential AI from November 2019 to February 2022.

Before their time at Exponential AI, Mendhi held the position of Vice President & Practice Leader at Highmark Inc. from March 2015 to November 2019. Nikhil also worked at Deloitte Consulting, where they served as a Senior Manager from August 2013 to February 2015 and as a Manager from October 2010 to August 2013.

Earlier in their career, Mendhi worked as the Director of Provider Services & Business Process Improvement at WellCare Health Plans Inc. from an unknown start date to October 2010. Nikhil also held the role of Associate, Corporate Development at WellCare Health Plans Inc. from June 2006 to March 2008.

During their time as an intern at Express Scripts from May 2005 to January 2006, Mendhi gained experience in strategic planning and competitive intelligence. Nikhil conducted due diligence on a $550 million pharmacy benefit management (PBM) company, authored a case on supply chain conflict, and performed competitive analysis of top PBMs.

Mendhi's early career included a role as a Strategic Planning Consultant at Mott MacDonald Consultants from November 2001 to May 2004. Nikhil developed a revival plan for a $600 million conglomerate, advised on company mergers, and led asset valuation teams.

Nikhil Mendhi's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued an MBA in Strategy & Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. Lastly, up until 2021, Nikhil has been attending Harvard Medical School, focusing on AI in Healthcare.
