Larry T. Decker

Larry Thomas Decker currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff (Acting) and Senior Advisor to the President/Chair of the Board of Directors at the Export-Import Bank of the United States since March 2023. Previously, Larry held the position of Executive Director at the Secular Coalition for America from December 2015 to February 2019 and served as Campaign Manager for a DC Mayoral Candidate from January 2013 to May 2014. Early in Larry's career, positions included Director of Public Policy at Friends for the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and various roles at the American Red Cross, culminating in Senior Director of Congressional Affairs. Larry also worked as Policy Director and Manager of Federation Outreach at the United States Chamber of Commerce and as Special Assistant in Legislative Affairs and Public Liaison at the United States Department of the Treasury. Larry Thomas Decker earned a BA in Politics and Music (minor) from Ithaca College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and completed a certificate in Business Administration and Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2013.
