Sean Bartlett

Sean Bartlett is a seasoned public relations professional with 15 years of experience in global development and U.S. politics and foreign policy. Before joining EXIM, Sean was a senior advisor to State Department spokesperson Ned Price. His career in the U.S. Congress includes serving as the communications director or senior press aide for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Sen. Ben Cardin and Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Maxine Waters. Sean was also the communications director at the Center for Global Development think tank, advancing research on the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on low-income countries, and a member of the UN Foundation's award-winning public affairs team, leading communications on public-private partnerships for clean energy solutions. Sean holds a M.A. in ethics, peace and global affairs from American University's School of International Service and a B.A. in political science from Stony Brook University in New York.
