John Hoover

John Hoover has over 20 years of experience managing China-related legal and business activities, having served as Managing Director of The Timken Company for nearly a decade and as General Counsel of Export Now since its founding.

John practiced law in Washington, D.C. with the international law firms Jones Day and Hogan & Hartson. Recently, John has been involved with several start-ups as both an investor and consultant in Northeast Ohio.

As General Counsel at Export Now, John is responsible for all legal matters of the firm and works closely with clients on matters from export compliance to transaction structuring to tax questions.

John earned a B.A. from Williams College, a J.D. from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
