Teymur Aghakishiyev

Teymur T. Aghakishiyev has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as Deputy CEO and CFO at Expressbank ASC since February 2009, in addition to holding various leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Payment Systems, Bank Cards, and Settlements. In parallel, Teymur has been a Project Owner at Expresspay since June 2013, and recently served as a Business Trainer at EDU Company Business School from July 2022 to June 2023. Teymur's previous roles include leadership positions at Premium Bank OJSC and Media Holding, Lider TV & Radio, as well as experience in the hospitality industry at “Azerbaijan” Hotel. Teymur holds an MBA in Banking and Financial Support Services from Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation, complemented by an internship in Lean management at Steinbeis Hochschule, and a Bachelor's degree in Vehicle Service and Repair Technology from Azerbaijan Technical University.
