Bronwyn Hagerty is an accomplished music professional with extensive experience as a cello teacher and librarian. Currently serving as the Orchestra & Training Programs Librarian for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra since June 2021 and as a Cello Teacher at Expressions Music Academy, Bronwyn has nearly a decade of experience teaching cello to students of all ages, both in-person and virtually. Previous roles include Library Fellow at Tanglewood Music Center, Librarian for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and various positions at Carnegie Mellon University, where responsibilities included managing concert music distribution and coordinating music lessons. Bronwyn is also a seasoned performer, having held the position of Principal Cellist for StarStruck Theatre. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Cello Performance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance from the University of Puget Sound.
