Khalid Alrasheed

Khalid AlRasheed has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and engineering. Khalid started their career in 2004 as a Power Transmission Engineer at Saudi Electricity Company, where they worked until 2006. Khalid then joined SABIC as a Sr Project Engineer, where they worked for four years from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they joined Saudi Aramco in 2010 as a Project Management Expert and worked for eight years until 2018.

In 2018, Khalid AlRasheed joined the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority as a Chief Project Manager, and they held this position until 2020. Khalid then became the Director of Infrastructure Planning at the same organization and worked in this role from 2020 to 2021. After that, they served as the Director of Entity Enablement from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, Khalid AlRasheed is the Executive Director of Project Delivery Support at the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority, a position they have held since July 2022.

Khalid AlRasheed completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Toledo, which they attended from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Instrumentation and Control from Jubail Industrial Collage, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Khalid AlRasheed has obtained several certifications. These include the Foundation for Business Leadership program from IMD, obtained in February 2023, the Better Business Case Practitioner certification from APMG International, obtained in November 2019, the Certificate in Data Analysis Skills from Informa, obtained in November 2019, and the Business Intelligence: Data Analysis & Reporting Technique certification from Meric, obtained in December 2018. Khalid also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, obtained in June 2012.
