Saud Al-Buraikan has extensive work experience in project management and leadership roles. From 2018 onwards, they have been working at the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority, where they currently serve as the General Manager - Projects Management. In this role, they are responsible for implementing the Mashroat project delivery model across Saudi Entities and improving the performance of capital expenditure projects. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2020, Saud worked at GE, starting as a Senior Projects Manager and later serving as a Project Manager in the Project Management Leadership Program. During their time at GE, they managed various projects in the power sector, including power plants and wind turbine installations. Before joining GE, Saud worked at ABB as a Senior Sales Engineer and later as a Design Engineer, handling telecommunication projects for Saudi Electric Power Stations. Saud began their career at the Saudi Electricity Company as a Project Engineer.
Saud Al-Buraikan completed their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree in Communications & Electronics at King Saud University from 2005 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued a Project Management Leadership Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2015. In 2016, Saud obtained a certification in Project Management Leadership Program from GE. Saud then earned another certification, "Managing Across Cultures," from HEC Paris Executive Education in December 2019.
