Alberto Bresciani

Alberto Bresciani has a strong background in drug discovery and biotechnology, with a focus on infectious diseases. Alberto has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Director of Project Biology at Exscientia since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Director at IRBM, where they led projects against viral infections, designed screening cascades, and collaborated with institutions for in vivo studies. Alberto also held roles as the Director of High Throughput Biology and Screening, Director of GLP/GCP testing facility, and Director of Screening Technologies at IRBM. Additionally, Alberto was a Biochemist at Merck, a Researcher at Primm srl, and a Member of the Scientific Board at Thalamoss. Alberto has also served on the general committee of ELRIG and as an Editorial Board Member for SLAS. Alberto Bresciani has accumulated over ten years of experience in the industry and has been involved in various aspects of drug discovery, from target identification to pre-clinical candidates.

Alberto Bresciani earned an MD degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, from 2001 to 2005.
