Karen Vanhaltren

Karen VanHaltren started their career at Molecular Connections in 2011 as a Scientific Analyst/Team Lead. Karen then worked their way up to become an Associate Project Lead and later an Associate Manager. From July 2020 to January 2022, they served as the Manager - Life Sciences at Molecular Connections. Currently, Karen is working as the Biomedical Data Quality Lead at Exscientia, starting in February 2022.

Karen VanHaltren completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Biotechnology from St Agnes College, Mangalore, from 2005 to 2008. Karen further pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biochemistry from St Aloysius College, Manglore, from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their academic degrees, Karen obtained several certifications, including Data Science Certification Programme from ExcelRInstitute in 2019, Advanced post-graduate diploma in regulatory affairs and medical writing from James Lind Institute in 2016, and Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmacovigilance from GITS Academy Corporate Training Experts in 2013. Recently, they completed certifications in Data Science, Text Mining and Analytics, and Python Programming from Coursera and the University of Illinois in 2021.
