Thomas Granchi

Thomas Granchi, MD, MBA, currently serves as an Attending Surgeon at Extant Healthcare since July 2022, with previous roles including Attending Surgeon at Envision Healthcare and Chief of Burn Services at Grady Memorial Hospital. Granchi has a distinguished career in burn and trauma surgery, having held the position of Director of the Burn Treatment Center at The University of Iowa and serving as a Medical Director for the Emergency Center at Ben Taub General Hospital. With military experience as a Surgeon in the US Army Reserve, including two deployments to Iraq, Granchi's extensive training includes a Burn/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at UTMB and a history as an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Granchi earned an MBA from Rice Business and an MD from The Ohio State University, alongside a BS from Syracuse University.
