Vidyasagar Lakshmisha has a diverse range of work experience spanning across multiple roles and organizations.

Vidyasagar started their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt Ltd as a Programmer Analyst Trainee, where they received extensive training in various technologies and worked on building an online shopping portal using ASP.Net. Vidyasagar later transitioned to the role of a Programmer Analyst, where they developed applications using Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, C#, and ASP.Net/MVC.

Afterwards, Vidyasagar joined MetaStock as a Software Engineer Intern, where they contributed to the development and enhancement of the charting software. Vidyasagar actively worked on troubleshooting issues, implementing UI components, and modifying analytical libraries.

Vidyasagar then moved on to Briostack as a Data Engineer, where they focused on designing a data integration platform to migrate clients from different source systems. Vidyasagar performed ETL processes using Python and SQL, worked with large amounts of structured and unstructured data, and ensured data integrity and referential integrity among different tables.

Later, Vidyasagar joined FreshLime as a Data Engineer, where they built a data ingestion pipeline and ETL modules to integrate CRM data from different business verticals. Vidyasagar also created a data lake on AWS and optimized data ingestion using job scheduling on Airflow, reducing integration time by 70%.

Currently, Vidyasagar is at Extensiv as a Lead Data Engineer (BI & Analytics), where they lead a team of data science engineers and architects embedded analytics solutions. Vidyasagar has worked on integrating users into the Quicksight data visualization tool, building data marts on Redshift, and creating data visualizations on Quicksight. Vidyasagar also played a significant role in driving the agile development cycle for the team and formulating the analytics roadmap.

Vidyasagar Lakshmisha completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from PES University, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Vidyasagar later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Vidyasagar obtained a certification in Advanced Operation using Amazon Redshift from Qwiklabs in January 2017. Vidyasagar also completed a course on Learning Apache Hadoop EcoSystem - Hive from Udemy, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
