Nawar Nasar Khan

Nawar Nasar Khan (Raeesa) is an accomplished professional in the field of environmental science and sustainability, currently serving as a Research Associate for Swisscontact on the ESG Study, focusing on promoting green growth in Bangladesh's RMG sector. As a Co-Founder of Green & Beyond and a Senior Ambassador at Extern, Nawar is dedicated to facilitating career development through real-world experiences. Nawar holds significant roles with The Climate Reality Project as the National Coordinator for the Green Campus Program in Bangladesh and as a Climate Reality Leader, while past experiences include serving as a Research Assistant at Independent University, Bangladesh, and an intern at CIMMYT. Nawar's leadership experience extends to several positions within the Green Planet Club at IUB and participation in remote externships with notable organizations such as Greenpeace USA. An alumnus of Independent University, Bangladesh, Nawar earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from 2019 to 2022.
