Joseph McGarry

Joseph McGarry is an experienced Controls Engineer currently working at Extol, Inc. since April 2021, following a tenure as a Control Engineer at JR Automation from December 2015 to April 2021. Prior to this, Joseph served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida, where responsibilities included designing, fabricating, and testing experimental propulsion facilities, as well as conducting experimental data acquisition and analysis using MATLAB and CFD tools like StarrCCM. Earlier roles include Graduate Assistant at Old Dominion University and a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Stanley Black & Decker, where Joseph focused on 3D CAD modeling and prototype testing. Joseph's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Old Dominion University and studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Central Florida.
