Branden T. Roberts

Branden T. Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Branden T. recently joined ExtraHop in 2022 as a Principal CyberSecurity Sales Engineer. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they worked at NETSCOUT, holding positions as a Regional Sales Manager and a Senior CyberSecurity Sales Engineer. Before that, from 2018 to 2020, they were a Senior CyberSecurity Sales Engineer at ExtraHop. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Riverbed Technology, where they held various roles including Senior Cloud Solutions Sales Architect, Senior Sales Engineer, and Sales Engineer. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they worked at IBM as a Software Support Manager and a Software Support Engineer. Their early career includes a stint at Best Buy as a Manager for Geek Squad from 2000 to 2006, and they started their career in 1998 at Oasis Silicon Systems as a Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager.

Branden T. Roberts obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Texas State University in 2007. In 2024, they began pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from The University of Texas at Austin. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Adaptive Penetration Testing certification from BlackHat in 2019, the ExtraHop Certified Analyst certification from ExtraHop in 2018, the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from ITIL Certified in 2014, and the GSEC: GIAC Security Essentials (GISO) from the SANS Institute in December 2019.
