Nirbhay Marathe

Nirbhay Marathe is a Senior Director and Account Delivery Solutions Architect at Exusia, Inc. He is responsible for leading the technical delivery of large data management programs, defining large-scale client solutions, and providing delivery oversight and quality assurance for Exusia’s clients. Nirbhay brings over 12 years of experience in Data Warehousing and BI implementations with extensive design expertise in Ab Initio and Unix.

Nirbhay offers clients extensive expertise in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, creation of high and detail level designs, implementation, testing, and support. He is a specialist in Ab Initio implementations with comprehensive knowledge of Co-Operating System, GDE, EME, and Conduct>It. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB - IIBF) and has completed various other certifications in the Securities, Derivatives, and Mutual Funds domain from NCFM and AMFI. With his experience across the financial services industry and strong technical knowledge, Nirbhay can solve a diverse range of technical challenges while providing leadership, guidance, mentorship, and training to his direct reports and other team members.

Prior to joining Exusia, Nirbhay served as an ETL Architect at Barclays Technology Center India, where he utilized his ETL experience in Ab Initio to design and deliver an enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) solution to provide a single view of customers spread across all geographies. He also contributed significantly to the implementation of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program. Prior to Barclays Technology, Nirbhay served as a Technology Lead at Accenture and Infosys. In these roles, he applied his expertise in Ab Initio, Informatica, Oracle, and other data management technologies to design and develop a variety of innovative solutions for global clients in the financial services and high technology industries.

Nirbhay graduated from Mumbai University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation. In addition to Ab Initio, his Data Warehousing expertise includes Informatica, PL/SQL, and shell scripting. He is likewise experienced in database applications that utilize Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server.

Nirbhay enjoys traveling and adventure sports like sky diving, bungee jumping, and rock climbing. An avid nature lover, he likes trekking and hiking. He is passionate about environmental conservation and actively contributes to Greenpeace. He is also a movie fanatic and never misses a chance to catch up on new movies with his wife and family.
