Rajen Patel

Rajen Patel is a Partner and Head of Global Delivery at Exusia. As a Partner, he is responsible for oversight of the firm’s global business delivery interests and client-facing solutions. As Head of Delivery Globally, Raj manages Exusia’s solution offerings and provides delivery oversight and quality assurance across client business verticals and accounts. Since joining Exusia in 2013, Raj has been instrumental to the rapid business and deliver growth across the United States and Internationally, while remaining focused on ensuring that Exusia's clients receive the highest quality solutions to support their businesses. With almost two decades of experience in data and analytics, Raj has maintained a consistent record of delivering high-quality, creative solutions for his clients, including enterprise data repositories, streaming data architectures, performance management engines, and custom analytical applications.

Raj consistently delivers elegant solutions with a significant return on investment for some of the industry’s most complex data requirements, while meeting tight delivery timelines and service levels. Raj is well versed in multiple ETL technologies including Ab Initio and Informatica. Raj is also a leading specialist in utilizing the Ab Initio suite for creating high-performance, reusable solutions for large data volume processing. Raj’s experience crosses multiple industries. His previous clients include Citigroup, United Healthcare, Allstate, Fannie Mae, Capital One, Crosstex Energy Services, Raytheon, Freddie Mac, Key Energy Services, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Hertz, and The Home Depot.

Prior to Exusia, Raj led the implementation of various marketing services and post-campaign applications at Allstate. His team of developers delivered performance enhancements resulting in over 500% improvement to the bottom line. Before Allstate, Raj drove the data integration architecture of a new near-real-time Enterprise Data Repository (ODS and EDW) that supported the IBM Banking Financial Markets Industry Model for Fannie Mae. Prior to Fannie Mae, Raj was a Lead Architect for Teradata in its Data Integration Center of Excellence (CoE) group. Raj has also held senior technical positions at Hitachi Consulting, TransUnion, and Knightbridge Solutions (HP).

Raj received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His wide experience in the enterprise data management and business intelligence space is complemented by his deep experience in multiple data integration tools (Ab Initio, Informatica, SAP Data Services), databases (Oracle, Teradata, Netezza), and Big Data tools (MongoDB, Hadoop).

Outside work, Raj enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and two young boys. He is also passionate about helping children in need globally through his involvement in the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
