Shamkant Dunbray

Shamkant Dunbray is a Partner, Cheif Information Security Officier, and Head of Exusia's Asia practice which is based in India with headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra. Shamkant is responsible for Exusia IT and Security functions, client engagements in Asia, and the firm’s delivery centers across India. As a Head of Asia, Shamkant manages Exusia’s data management solution offerings and provides oversight and quality assurance across client business verticals and accounts. Shamkant brings 25 years of experience in software development and consulting with specialization in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Analytics, including 18 years in the U.S. delivering high-quality data-centric solutions to his various clients in North America while he was employed with Accenture, HP/Knightsbridge Solutions and various bay area start-ups.

Shamkant has experience across the entire data life cycle and delivery portfolio, which includes project management, requirements gathering, data modeling, and design, ETL and Business Intelligence (BI) architecture, development,t, and testing for large-scale data warehouses. He has implemented large-scale data solutions using various tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, Oracle warehouse builder, and BI tools including Actuate, Cognos, Business Objects, and OBIEE.

Prior to Exusia, Shamkant was a Director at Sears Holding India, responsible for heading Marketing and Pricing IT portfolios. Before coming to India, Shamkant worked in the U.S. for companies like Salesforce.com, Accenture, Stryker, Knightsbridge Solutions (HP), and various bay area start-ups. With Knightsbridge Solutions/HP, Shamkant traveled extensively throughout the U.S. providing high-value consulting services to various clients such as Wells Fargo, Blue-cross Blue-shield of California, and British Petroleum.

Shamkant has a BE (Bachelor of Computer Engineering) from PICT, Pune University, India. He has also completed extension courses at various U.S. universities such as UCLA, UC Berkeley,y, and UC San Francisco.

Besides work, Shamkantis enjoys his quality time with his wife and two kids and is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle.
