Vyankatesh Rege

Vyankatesh Rege is a Senior Director and leader of the centers of excellence within Exusia. He is responsible for designing and delivering leading capabilities to enable world-class client delivery solutions for Exusia’s global clients. Vyankatesh brings over 12 years of experience in design, architecting, implementation, and project management to Exusia’s execution and empower practices having implemented end-to-end data integration and analytics solutions for several top US institutions.

Vyankatesh’s experience comes from working in a critical customer-facing role where he led the delivery for onsite and offshore teams. Vyankatesh has over 10 years of Business Intelligence experience, 9 of those in various Ab Initio product suites. He has created multiple Ab Initio assets including PHI data masking tool and Graph Max Core Calculator, saving his teams and clients significant time and effort. Aside from his data integration expertise, his knowledge of Analytics design patterns has been built through the utilization of lead technologies such as revolution R, SAS Enterprise Guide, and Tableau.

Before Exusia, Vyankatesh played two diverse data-centric roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC). Vyankatesh joined BCBSNC as a Senior Data Integration developer in the Data warehousing team and played crucial roles in multiple enterprise initiatives involving operations, IT, and business. In 2013, Vyankatesh moved to the BCBSNC Sales Analysis and Reporting team as the Lead Architect and streamlined some of the critical business processes using SAS Enterprise Guide and Teradata. He was also instrumental in the process design to get data for multiple Tableau dashboards giving analytic insights to the senior sales management team.

Prior to BCBSNC, Vyankatesh worked in various senior and leadership roles. As Project Lead at L&T Infotech working for Travelers, he mentored and guided onshore and offshore teams to successfully deliver multiple projects in Ab Initio for Travelers BI. At Accenture, Vyankatesh worked for British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) Data Reconciliation module, optimizing existing process flow. He also won Accenture BIDW capability’s “Best Idea” award for his Ab Initio accelerator. Vyankatesh started his career with IGate Patni and worked for GE Money, winning various appreciations and awards from the clients. He also did his Six Sigma green belt project and certification while working for GE.

Vyankatesh graduated from Pune University in 2002 with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. In his spare time, Vyankatesh loves to spend time with his wife and 1-year-old son. He’s also an avid reader and loves reading leadership books and articles. Vyankatesh is a big movie fanatic and passionate tennis fan.
