Nomathemba Mabaso

Nomathemba Mabaso is an experienced Project Engineer currently at Exxaro Resources since January 2019, with prior roles as a Civil Engineer and Professional In Training (PIT). Nomathemba gained valuable design experience working as a Candidate Civil Engineer at WSP in Africa from January 2021 to January 2022 as part of the Exxaro Professional in Training program. Earlier experience includes serving as a BSc Civil Engineer in Training at Eskom Medupi power station from June 2017 to December 2018, along with vacation student roles at Eskom in both December 2013 and December 2014. Education includes pursuing a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand from January 2022 to December 2023, a Certificate in First Line Management from the University of South Africa in 2020, and obtaining a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal between 2011 and 2016.
