Richard Sono

Richard Sono is a seasoned professional in the engineering field, currently serving as a Senior Reliability Engineer at Exxaro Resources since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Maintenance Engineer at Seriti Resources from October 2018 to November 2021 and an Engineering Graduate position at BHP Billiton from November 2011 to December 2013. Richard's career began at BHP, where responsibilities included serving as Condition Monitoring Supervisor from January 2006 to September 2011. Richard also gained early experience as an Internship Trainee at Douglas Colliery, focusing on the rehabilitation of an old shaft and improving the availability and fuel costs of underground diesel machines.
