Sewela Portia Moketla

Sewela Portia Moketla is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Exxaro Resources since January 2023, Sewela previously held the position of Senior Product Engineer at Komatsu Mining Corp. – AFRICA from March 2020 to November 2022, following roles at Komatsu Mining Corp. as a Mechanical Product Engineer and at Eskom as an Assistant Engineer. Sewela began the engineering career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Saab Avitronics. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours from the University of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
