Alan Zhao

Alan (Peiyuan) Zhao is an experienced production engineer with a strong background in process engineering and research. Currently serving as a Production Engineering Co-op at Vantage Oleochemicals, Alan has contributed significantly to the company by conducting analyses that increased revenue, coordinating complex projects, and designing cost-saving piping systems. Previous roles include performing laboratory analyses and optimizing procedures as a Technical Engineering Co-op, as well as enhancing quality control measures as a Quality Control Engineering Co-op. Alan's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on cyanobacteria strain development and metabolite studies.
