Glenn Miers

Glenn Miers is an experienced professional in data science and geophysics, currently serving as a Technical Team Lead in Data Science at ExxonMobil since October 2024, focusing on advanced analytics development. As a Data Science Fellow at Galvanize Inc since August 2016, Glenn has completed over 400 hours of training in various data science disciplines and developed an online fraud monitoring tool utilizing ScikitLearn and MongoDB. Prior to that, Glenn served in various roles at Schlumberger from 2002 to 2015, achieving significant time and resource savings through innovative algorithm development and software creation. Glenn holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
