Sha Miao

Sha (Sasha) Miao is a seasoned professional in the field of data and computational science, currently holding the position of Data Scientist and previously as a Computational Scientist at ExxonMobil since May 2018. Prior to this, Sha Miao served as a Computational Scientist Intern at Upstream Research Company for a brief period in 2016. Sha Miao earned a Ph.D. in Computational Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018, alongside a minor in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and previously obtained a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. The educational journey began at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where Sha Miao received a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering.
