Viren Mascarenhas is an experienced professional in electrical engineering and cyber security with a strong background in the energy sector. Currently serving as the ICS Cyber Security Lead at ExxonMobil since March 2017, Viren oversees the implementation of the Industrial Control System Requirements program across Unconventional Business Units. Previously, Viren held various roles at ExxonMobil, including Lead Electrical Engineer for the LaBarge Carbon Capture Project and positions in logistics and workflow advising. Viren began the career at LyondellBasell, where involvement spanned roles from SIS Engineer Co-Op to Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer, focusing on safety systems, preventative maintenance, and training development. Viren obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2016.
