Liz Allan

Liz Allan has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Liz is currently working at Exyte as the Vice President of Engineering & Design for BioPharma & Life Science in Northern Europe & Israel, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Jacobs as the Director of Engineering for BioPharma & Life Sciences in Northern Europe & Israel.

Before their time at Jacobs, Liz held various roles at the company, including Design Manager, Project Process Lead for a large scale API capital project in Singapore, Process Engineering Manager for Advanced Facilities in Ireland Operations, Performance and Delivery Manager for European and Ireland Operations, and Process Lead specializing in process engineering design for life sciences projects.

Liz also worked as a Process Engineer at Pfizer from 2010 to 2012 and as a Utilities Engineer from 2003 to 2009, where they gained a deep understanding of pharmaceutical systems and was involved in utility process optimization and new product introductions.

Earlier in their career, Liz worked as a Project Co-ordinator at Penna and as a Post Graduate Researcher at University College Dublin. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in engineering, design, and project management in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.

Liz Allan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, with a focus on Environmental Chemistry, from the University of Birmingham between 1996 and 2000. In 2000, they pursued a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology at University College Dublin, which they completed in 2001. Later, between 2011 and 2014, Liz obtained a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from The Open University.
