Diego Valencia

Diego Valencia is an experienced mathematics student at Virginia Tech, serving as the Class of 2025 Treasurer and a Consultant in the Consulting Group at Virginia Tech. Currently an Assurance & Audit Intern at EY, Diego has previously held positions including Contracts Intern at The Business Law Group LLC, Pricing Analyst Intern at Serco, and participant in the 2022 Math Research Experience for Undergraduates at UNC Charlotte. Engagement in student leadership includes significant roles such as Secondary Representative to the Student Budget Board and College of Science Senator. Diego's accomplishments extend to being selected as a Fellow in the Hispanic Heritage Foundation's LOFT Leadership Institute, and participation as a public speaker at the VII Workshop on Computational Data Analysis and Numerical Methods. Diego Valencia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
