Karen Roman has a diverse work experience in the field of writing and editing. Karen first worked as a Freelance Writer/Editor, where they wrote feature articles and columns for healthcare magazines and also proofread and edited content for various projects. After that, they joined Boucher Communications as the Managing Editor for Contact Lenses Today and Optometric Management, where they developed story ideas, assigned articles, edited monthly columns, and reported on news and features. Karen also managed staff and freelance writers, performed ghostwriting for physician editors, and represented publications at trade shows and industry meetings. Later, they worked at HMP Communications as a Special Projects Editor, where they took on various editorial projects. Karen then moved on to Jobson Medical Information LLC as a Special Projects Editor, where they oversaw the supplement process, assembled e-newsletters, and managed communication with authors and clients. Currently, Karen is the Editor-in-Chief at Bryn Mawr Communications.

Karen Roman attended Ursinus College from 1994 to 1997, where they studied English. After completing their studies at Ursinus College, Karen attended Temple University from 1997 to 2002. At Temple University, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General.
