Dave Westra

Dave Westra is an experienced instructional designer currently with EyeCare Partners since January 2021, following a tenure as a training specialist at Blue Sky Vision and Grand Rapids Ophthalmology. Westra has developed, improved, and maintained training solutions, as well as trained and evaluated ophthalmic technicians. Previous roles include serving as an ophthalmic technician and parts specialist, along with various positions in customer service and marketing, showcasing a diverse skill set in training, technical support, and marketing. Dave holds a Master’s Degree in Youth & Family Ministry from Calvin Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations, complemented by studies at Grand Rapids Community College.
