Eliane Pohl

Eliane Pohl has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Eliane began their career as a Teacher at The British School, where they taught writing, communication skills, and English as a Second Language. Eliane then transitioned to being an Information Technology Teacher at Vokesenspecialskole, focusing on teaching computer skills to mentally disabled adults and providing support.

After that, Eliane worked as a Freelance journalist at Nordjyske Medier and as a Manager in the Knowledge Management Department at SAXOTECH A/S. In these positions, they were responsible for writing technical documentation, user manuals, and architectural overviews for software products.

Eliane then became a Product Manager and Board Member at NEWCYCLE Solutions, leading product strategy, maintaining customer relationships, and communicating with customers through various channels. Eliane continued their product management career at Greenbyte AB, first as a Product Manager and then as the Director of Product Management, where they led the transition to product-led and data-driven product management.

Eliane also gained experience as a Technical Communicator at Marel, where they wrote and updated technical documentation for software using Agile processes. Eliane later joined AMMP Technologies as the VP of Product, establishing product planning and development processes.

Currently, Eliane is working at eyeo as the Head of Product and Senior Director of Product Operations, where they drive the creation and communication of product vision and strategy, empowers product managers, and ensures collaboration with engineering and marketing teams.

Throughout their career, Eliane has also worked as a Writer, Editor, and Translator as a freelancer, writing and editing technical documentation, blog posts, articles, marketing material, and translating content from Danish to English.

Eliane Pohl obtained a BA in English and a BS in Psychology from Brigham Young University between the years 1995 and 1998. Eliane also has additional certifications in Responsive PPM (Level 1 - Professional) from Responsive Product Portfolio Management, Introduction to Digital Sound Design from Coursera, Pragmatic Marketing from Pragmatic Marketing, and Surviving Disruptive Technologies from Coursera.
