Janine Alcalay

Janine Alcalay has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Janine has recently been working at eyeo as a Team Lead HR Business Partner and previously held the role of Human Resources Business Partner. Prior to that, they worked at sennder as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. During their time at Wayfair, Janine held various positions including Organizational Design & Strategy Senior Associate, Employee Experience -HR Senior Associate, and Onboarding and Employee Engagement HR Senior Specialist. Janine also has experience as a Workforce Planning & Insights Analyst at Zalando SE. In the earlier stages of their career, Janine worked at Nike EMEA as a Talent Development Specialist and Integrated Talent Management Intern. Janine gained internship experience at Accenture and started their career as an Administrative Assistant- Account Executive at 2yolk_branding & design. Additionally, they have worked as a Researcher at the National Centre of Social Research and as a Barista at Starbucks.

Janine Alcalay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Janine then pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Resources at Tilburg University from 2011 to 2013. In addition, Janine has obtained several additional certifications including Certified Agile Leadership from Scrum Alliance and ECDL CORE - European Computer Driving Licence from ECDL Foundation. Janine also holds a Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française - DELF B2 from MINISTERE DE L'EDUCATION NATIONAL and has completed the Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management course offered by Coursera.
